Does the holiday season sometimes feels more like the hell-iday season? Thanks in large part to the abundance of Carbs of Unknown Origin and nosy family members who just “mean well,” the holiday season can be a rough one.
But don’t worry, I got your back.
It’s why I am hosting a two-part training series on navigating the holiday season:
In Holiday Dosing Dilemmas, we will talk about the common reasons behind the struggles, how to better understand your plate(s), and the dosing and decision-making strategies that are going to get you better results.
In Boundaries 101, we are going to talk about how to respond when nosy relatives ask intrusive questions or make unhelpful assumptions.
As a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist and a licensed therapist, food and family concerns are kinda my thing.
Registration for these trainings is free and you’ll get a handout accompanying each workshop so you will have a cheat-sheet with you to guide and support you. There will also be a recording available so if you can’t make it live on Tuesday, you still have Wednesday and most of Thursday to review.
Your registration will get you access to both trainings, although you are not obligated to attend both.
I will also make a very special announcement at both trainings and those who register will get a special extra bonus offer, so you don’t miss out!
You can have fantastic blood sugars during the holidays without restriction, and you can enjoy all the yummy foods available without sky high BGs.
What is something you would love to eat this year without fear? Leave me a note and then go register! Let’s figure it out!
Yours in gratitude and food freedom,
Allison Nimlos, MA, CDCES, LMFT
